About Us

Founded 2015, San Diego Paddlers is the hub for many local organizations and individuals to go to reconnect with nature and themselves in a fun but calming environment.

Founder and operator Craig Seering, is a service-connected disabled Army Veteran
who is dedicated to providing positive, active outlets
for people facing mental to physical challenges or disabilities.

Partner and spouse, Ashleigh Conaway understands the struggles of veterans, as her Grandfathers served in the Navy and the community working for the 50th congressional district.

Together Craig and Ashleigh’s passion for helping others developed into serving their community to those who didn’t think they could ever have an outlet because of their traumas.

Studies have shown that the low-impact of paddle boarding provides many health benefits for people even with severe injuries such as back problems, knee problems and PTSD. Other activities may not be suitable to certain conditions but paddle boarding’s low-impact movements provides enough exercise to change the body and heal the mind.
